What are you doing to keep your members and team safe?
Your health and safety is our #1 priority, and we’re committed to keeping our “home away from home” clean and safe as we know. working out is essential for your physical and mental well-being. Our employees will conduct regular and thorough cleaning of all equipment, surfaces, and areas of the club and regularly complete deep cleanings. Although we cannot eliminate all risks associated with COVID-19, we’ve taken several additional steps to strengthen our cleanliness policies and procedures to help keep you and our employees safe when your club reopens.
Below are some of the changes you can expect to change (some day):
• Employees will receive daily temperature checks and wear a mask during their shift
• Masks are required, except while actively working out
• All employees will have completed extensive training related to our enhanced cleanliness and sanitization policies and procedures
• Increased, thorough cleaning will be conducted using disinfectant on the EPA list effective against COVID-19. This includes 20-minute walk arounds by our employees to continually clean and sanitize high-touch areas
• Increased sanitization stations will be available throughout the gym floor for member use.
• Touchless check-in is available via the free MindBody App featuring COVID-19 wellness questions. Simply download the app in advance and scan in at the front desk. In addition to a touch-less check-in experience, our app also puts the gym in your pocket with workouts at your fingertips.
• Crowd Meter, a new feature on the Planet Fitness App, allows members to check capacity and section availability before coming into the gym
• Signage will be placed throughout the club that highlights our sanitization and Social Fitnessing™ guidelines
• 24 Fitness may be temporarily modified based on local guidelines and restrictions. You will be updated through our app as we aim to get back to an “allowed” 24 hour schedule.

What type of disinfectant do you use?
Our employees will be conducting increased, thorough cleanings throughout all areas of the club using disinfectant on the EPA list effective against COVID-19.

Do you have hand sanitizer available for member use?
Yes, we do! You will find sanitization stations throughout the gym, fully stocked with disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer. We want to keep our community strong and healthy!

Will you have equipment out of use?

Will you Have modified hours?
Yes when we first open our hours will be restricted to the maximum allowed by the New York State government and governor.

What can members do to stay safe?
Here’s how you can be “Cleansiderate” and do your part to help keep our community healthy:
• The CDC recommends you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water before using equipment
• Remember to disinfect equipment before and after use
• Maintain physical distance between members and employees
• Please stay home if you’re not feeling well. Don’t worry, we’ll be here for you when you feel better!

How are you keeping your employees safe?
We couldn’t do it without our awesome employees, and their health and safety is one of our priorities. We are providing all employees with PPE such as masks and gloves. They have conducted extensive training on our enhanced cleanliness and sanitization policies and procedures. Additionally, all employees will have their temperatures taken when they arrive for work each day.

What is 24 Fitness’ mask policy?
Your health and safety is our #1 priority, and we’re committed to keeping our center clean and safe. For the enhanced safety of our members, guests and employees, masks are required except while actively working out, unless local government restrictions or restrictions require them at all times. This means that a mask must be worn at all times, and in accordance with local restrictions, in the center (except while actively working out) including when entering and exiting the facility, in between machines and exercises on the gym floor, cleaning, While you are actively working out, you do not need to have a mask on.
Wearing a mask in public is proven to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, as your partner in health and wellness, we are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure the health and safety of our community. What if I forget my mask?
24 fitness will have a box of disposable masks on deck.

Are employees required to wear masks?
Yes, employees are required to wear a mask at all times during their shift for their safety, and the safety of others.

Mask best practices:
• Wear your mask correctly
• Wash your hands before putting it on
• Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin
• Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face
• Make sure you can breathe easily

Company’s plans for opening?
The safety of our team and members is our top priority. We have taken a number of steps to protect the health and well-being of our employees and members, which include enhanced cleanliness and sanitization policies and procedures, physical distancing measures, reducing physical touch points in the club, and more. Now more than ever it’s important to stay active, in order to stay healthy, and we look forward to safely and responsibly welcoming you back!

If we get FORCED to shutdown…
Don’t worry, if your new second home is closed, we’ve got your back! Your membership will be frozen and you will not be charged any fees while our club is closed. We will make an adjustment on your next billing cycle when our club reopens for any unused days for which you have previously paid. If you are subscribed to one of the gyms monthly subscription plans we will hook you up with a laundry 24 plan at more of a deal. After all, we care!

What happens if I lose my FOB key?
Don’t fret (unless your car keys were attached) we can make you a new one. If you lose your 24 Fitness FOB key there will be a $10 replacement fee regardless of membership status.

How would I cancel my membership?
While we hate to see you cancel your membership, if we are open, you can send a letter requesting to cancel, or you can stop by and cancel in person.

Where do I go if I have questions or need help with the billing for my account?
Your best source of billing or membership information is to contact us directly. If our front desk is closed, please contact our membership services department. Please note that the Member Services department is open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 6pm, EST. They will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

Do you offer classes or personal training?
While first starting out and during this rough period of our pandemic we will not be offering any in house classes. We hope to be able to offer classes once the occupation restrictions due to covid calm down. Our fitness professional will be available to you during day time hours or also by email for fitness advice and help constructing a new plan to achieve the BEST you.
